Privacy policy

We keep things simple here. Snippets is a pre-launch site — no purchases, no accounts, no advertising trackers. The only personal information we have about you is what you choose to give us, and we use it for the obvious reason: to communicate with you. We also use cookieless, privacy-first page analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) — no cookies, no personal data collected. More on that below.

What we collect

We collect information through two forms on this site:

• Waitlist form. Your email address. We use this to let you know when kits are available and to send you an early-maker discount.
• Contact form. Your name, email address, and message. We use this to reply to you.

That's the complete list. We do not collect payment information (no purchases happen on this site), and we do not require you to create an account. We use cookieless, aggregate-only page analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) — this does not collect personal data and is described fully in the section below.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not set tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any advertising or cross-site tracking scripts.

We do use Cloudflare Web Analytics — a cookieless, privacy-first page analytics tool provided by our hosting provider, Cloudflare. It works without cookies, does not use localStorage or any persistent identifier, does not track individual people across sites, and does not collect or share personal data. It produces only aggregate metrics (page views, referrer country, browser type). Because it collects no personal data and sets no cookies, no cookie consent banner is required under GDPR/ePrivacy or CCPA. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for full details.

Cloudflare also hosts and serves this site and may collect standard server-side log data (IP address, request path, timestamp) for security and performance purposes, as described in that same privacy policy.

How we use your information

• Waitlist email → we send you a confirmation when you sign up, and we'll email you when the first kit drops (with an early-maker discount). That's it.
• Contact message → we reply to your message. We don't add your contact-form email to the waitlist without your asking.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Who processes your data

We use a small number of trusted services to operate the site:

• Resend — our transactional email provider. When you submit the waitlist or contact form, Resend delivers the notification to us and the confirmation to you. Resend processes your email address for that purpose and is bound by its own privacy policy and data processing agreement.
• Cloudflare — hosts and serves this site (request metadata logged for security/performance) and provides Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless, aggregate page metrics — no personal data). See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Future: when purchases go live, payment will be processed entirely by a third-party PCI-compliant provider (such as Stripe or Shopify). Card numbers and payment details will never touch our servers. We'll update this policy before that happens.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist emails until you ask us to remove them or until Snippets launches and the waitlist phase ends. Contact messages are retained as long as is reasonably necessary to respond and keep a record of the conversation. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access. Ask us what personal information we hold about you.
• Correction. Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Deletion. Ask us to delete your information. We'll confirm when it's done.
• Opt out. Unsubscribe from waitlist emails at any time by replying to any email from us or by contacting us directly.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it's used, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, and the right to opt out of any sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information. We honor all of these rights for everyone, not just California residents. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 45 days.

Children's data

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently received information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
